Warm greetings from the Sports, Adventure and Photography Club, NIFT-Gandhinagar. Our Club offers a broad spectrum of activities for individuals and various interest groups at our campus.

As the saying goes our club is a dedicated group of members that have strived towards great achievements in the field of sports and photography. Our objective is to provide an opportunity for all those who share a zeal and passion for sports. The college team takes part in intercollege, state, and national competitions and our team has been blessed to receive opportunities in the form of extraordinary platforms to demonstrate this passion and strive towards victory. NIFT-Gandhinagar campus is fully facilitated with a large spectrum of events in both girls and boys Categories.

It is an open platform for all to give Trials which are conducted for each event. Regular practices, patience, and teamwork have been our key lookouts to look for the team. Driven by the saying of Vin Scully - “Good is not good when better is expected.”, the club conducts and participates in various events at different levels be it city, district, and national level to bring out the best in you.

Intercollegiate events

With true determination to achieve the best, the college teams in volleyball, basketball, throwball, badminton, and athletic events have been participating in sports tournaments in and around Gandhinagar & brought glory ours to college. We are proud to say that the volleyball and Basketball team which outshined their performance in Gujarat State Khel Mahakumbh and qualifying for the state and nationals.

Intra College Events:

Every year Intra College competition is held among different semester students to outshine their learning and performance in various games. It is one of the most spectacular events of the year where juniors and seniors compete for the trophy.

Events at various other occasions

Kabaddi and Tug of war are conducted on the occasion of Janmashtami. The competition is held between different departments and between junior and senior batches in both boys and girl’s categories.

Spectrum

This is Our annual fest of NIFT-Gandhinagar. Various inter-college events are conducted in the annual event in which around 300 Students from 25 colleges participate every year.
The spectators enjoy the excellent performance of the students in various sports and photography events.

Converge

Converge is the national Annual Event of NIFT hosted by any one of the 16 campuses. 50 of our team members from each NIFT campuses all over the country come to display the spirit and of games and activities fairly and competitively and win medals for their campuses. This year, NIFT Gandhinagar achieved gold in volleyball (girls) for the first time and won many more in other sports events. It gives us stupendous pleasure in saying that we are current and
have been defending Champions in the past at various team and individual event in the national display of talent in sports.

Award Ceremonies

Every year felicitation ceremony is held on the occasion of Republic day, winners of Converge in various events are accoladed.

Photography club 

Our Photography team takes part in exploring and looking forward to teaching new skills and working as a group to achieve highly creative pieces of art. They are one of the core members who capture and film memories of our college life.
The members also take part in various intercollegiate competitions and display NIFT Gandhinagar's talent.

It won’t be wrong if it is said that the Sports Club is the most active and fun-loving Club. We celebrate our participation and victories with high spirits. As rituals and ceremonies on the court and off-court within the club members and often including faculties and staff members too have been A unique legacy of Sports adventure and photography club of parties at different happy occasions.
